Today, I am going to talk about the Sigma 65mm f/2 DG DN (DN stands for “deez nuts”) lens versus the Sony 55mm f/1.8. I have already posted a comparison video on my YouTube Shorts, but there was really no explanation. I showed some shots and kind of let you guys decide for yourselves. Plus, YouTube Shorts is a low-quality video format, so you can’t really tell what is sharp or not. So, I’m going to make a longer video to help explain it better.
Build Quality
The Sigma 65mm f/2 DG DN lens for the Sony E-mount system is an amazing lens with great build quality. On the other hand, the Sony 55mm f/1.8 is also a fantastic lens with great build quality. Image Quality
When it comes to the quality of the image, both the Sigma 65mm and the Sony 55mm lenses are top-notch. Both lenses produce sharp images with beautiful bokeh.
