Where I’ve Been and Stuff I’ve Been Thinking About

Have you ever found yourself reflecting on the places you’ve been and the experiences you’ve had? It’s a common practice to look back on our past adventures and contemplate on how they have shaped us into who we are today. In this blog, we will delve into my travels and the thoughts that have been occupying my mind lately. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene beaches of Bali, each destination has left a lasting impression on me. Join me as I share my insights on the places I’ve been and the things I’ve been pondering about.

Where I’ve Been

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done a live stream or shot a video. I’ve been out of commission since a week or two before Christmas due to being sick. The sickness seemed to just keep coming one after the other. I even got a stomach bug a couple weeks ago that really wrecked my gut. Now, I’m starting a bone broth cleanse to hopefully get back on track. It’s been quite a journey, but I’m really excited to be back shooting videos and connecting with all of you.

Sickness and Support

I want to take a moment to thank all of you for being so supportive during my absence. I didn’t expect so many of you to notice, but your kind messages and well wishes meant a lot to me. It’s always a great feeling to know that there are people out there who care, so thank you!

Stuff I’ve Been Thinking About

While I was sick and taking time to rest at home, I had a lot of time to think about things. One thing that stood out to me was a recent live stream from Linus Tech Tips where Linus talked about the idea of retiring. It got me thinking about work-life balance and how important it is to prioritize your health and well-being, regardless of what profession you’re in. It was a real eye-opener for me, and I highly recommend checking it out.

Work-Life Balance

Linus made some valid points about the dangers of overworking and the toll it can take on your personal life. It made me reflect on my own work habits and how I can make improvements to ensure I’m living a balanced and fulfilling life. It’s essential to take care of yourself and not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of work.

Another thing that Linus touched on was consumerism. While I’m not anti-consumerism, I do think that our society’s obsession with constantly buying new things can be unhealthy. It’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of always wanting the latest and greatest gadgets, but it’s important to take a step back and evaluate what truly brings value to our lives.

Saving Money and Consumer Habits

Linus’s discussion on consumer habits got me thinking about implementing a “no-gear-buying” campaign once a year. It’s a challenge to not purchase any new gear for a month and focus on making the most of what we already have. It’s a great way to break the cycle of constant consumption and appreciate the things we already own.

Overall, my time off due to sickness has been a time of reflection and growth. It’s reminded me of the importance of taking care of myself, finding a healthy balance between work and personal life, and being mindful of my consumer habits. I’m grateful for the support of all of you during this time, and I’m excited to be back creating content and connecting with all of you.
