Introducing the Bevis Gear Top Shelf Bag

Hey everyone, Vue of Andrew Films here with another video for you. Today, I’ll be showing you what’s in my camera bag. The bag I’ll be featuring is the new Bevis Gear Top Shelf Bag, which I saw on a YouTube ad and backed on Kickstarter. One of the key features of this bag is its ability to quickly switch between sling mode and backpack mode.

The unique latch on the back allows for easy access to the bag, making it perfect for quick gear changes during events like weddings. The durable construction and rigid square shape make it feel more like a camera case than a backpack, which I really appreciate. Now, let’s dive into the gear I carry in this bag.

Camera Gear

First and foremost, I carry my Sony A7SIII, my main camera body, with a full tilt cage. Additionally, I usually have my second A7SIII in the bag, but for this video, I’m using my A7RIII, which is normally in another case. Alongside my camera bodies, I carry a range of lenses, including 24mm, 50mm, 85mm, and a 14mm G Master lenses. This setup covers all my shooting needs and ensures I’m prepared for any situation.

Audio Equipment

Good audio is crucial for my work, so I carry a Sony PCM A10 audio recorder and a cheaper Sony mic as a backup. These allow me to capture high-quality audio and ensure I have a backup plan in case of technical issues. Additionally, I use the Hollyland Lark 350 wireless mic system as an extra backup, providing me with multiple options for capturing audio in various scenarios.

Overall, the Bevis Gear Top Shelf Bag has become an essential part of my kit, offering me quick access to my gear and a durable, reliable carrying solution. I highly recommend it to any filmmaker or photographer looking for a high-quality camera bag that can keep up with their needs.

That’s a wrap on what’s in my Bevis Gear Top Shelf Camera Bag!
