Nikon Rumors vs. Sony Alpha Rumors

Nikon rumors says that the Nikon ZF will have two card slots instead of the single card slot it reported in a previous story. Previously, Nikon rumors had said it had a single card slot and for a price of 19.99. This has been a point of disagreement between Nikon rumors and Sony Alpha rumors which has started covering this camera.

Speculations and Contradictions

Nikon rumor says the Nikon ZF will have some kind of new high resolution mode that will be implemented for the first time in a Nikon mirrorless camera. One thing to pay attention to is the contradictions between the information provided by Nikon rumors and Sony Alpha rumors, which have differing opinions on the specifications of the Nikon ZF. Nikon rumors predicted an announcement on August 2nd, while Sony Alpha rumors said it will happen sometime in August. They differed on details about the image resolution and sensor technology too.

Impressive Features

While both sources agree on the presence of dual card slots, all the other specifications are all over the place. The main point of this camera is to deliver a retro looking cool camera that is able to do work at a price point of 1999.

Stacked Sensor

While the speculation continues about whether the Nikon ZF will have a stacked sensor or not, there’s still a lot of contradicting information. A stacked sensor would be a significant feature which improves low light performance, dynamic range, and processing speed. The benefits are numerous, including reducing rolling shutter and improving continuous frame rates.
