In this blog, we’ll take a closer look at the stories of some well-known YouTubers who openly admit to their failures and the lessons they learned along the way. From humble beginnings to viral sensations, their journeys are a true testament to the power of perseverance and determination. So, if you’re feeling discouraged by failure, take heart in knowing that even the most successful YouTubers faced their own share of setbacks before making it big.

My Journey Before YouTube

Some of you might be wondering how many rooms are in my studio. The answer to that is three. I’m going to drop a link to my studio tour if you want to see it. If you’re watching me for the first time, it’s very easy to think that I’m sitting in a big studio, raking in the dollars, and just living life, pressing record. However, there have been a couple of things happening before I actually got to this point.

Bullied in High School

When I was 14 to 15 years old, I was bullied in high school. I didn’t like studying, hated math and Swedish, and barely passed my English grade. In Sweden, we have something called School Duty, which means you can’t drop out of high school. Despite this, I decided to drop out, which is probably not something I would do today, but I don’t regret it.

Working with My Dad

At 15-16 years old, trying to get a job without any high school grades was challenging. I started working with my dad and, initially, our relationship was full of ups and downs. Eventually, I decided to find another job and got a forklift driver’s license.

I applied for a job at a hardware store and it kick-started my journey into the job market. Working there for a couple of years, I was eventually laid off and struggled to find a full-time job.

Struggling with Part-Time Jobs

I struggled for years to find a full-time job, working part-time jobs and trying to make ends meet. I faced many challenges, including bosses who made the work difficult. I also tried starting a business using funding I received while being unemployed but ultimately failed to make it a success.

Finding Stability at Volvo

After years of struggling, I found a job at Volvo, a major employer in Sweden. However, I was let go after the company demanded high school grades, which I did not have.

Continuing to Struggle

After losing the job at Volvo, I continued to search for full-time employment while juggling part-time jobs. I faced challenges with finances and even drove old, cheap cars just to get around.

Despite the struggles and challenges, I persevered and eventually found success as a YouTuber.
