Working from home has its advantages and disadvantages. While it can be lonely and boring at times, it also offers the flexibility of working in your dressing gown when you’re not feeling well. However, interruptions like deliveries can sometimes disrupt your work routine.

Editing Photos in Lightroom

First Image Editing

One of the images from my trip to Italy required some editing to enhance its appearance. The original image was underexposed and lacked the autumnal colors I was hoping for. To improve it, I applied a high key punch preset and adjusted the hue to make the colors more vibrant. I also increased the texture to enhance the ripples in the water, bringing out the reflection at the bottom of the image.

Second Image Editing

In another image of Tom standing by the lake, the foreground with sticks and reflections needed enhancement. By using the high key punch preset and adjusting the luminance of the blue sky, I reduced distractions in the background. I also played with the colors to create an autumnal feel in the image. To further improve the composition, I adjusted the color of Tom’s coat to complement the background better.

Editing photos in Lightroom allows you to enhance the visual appeal of your images by adjusting colors, exposure, and textures. By understanding the basics of editing, you can transform ordinary photos into stunning works of art. Remember to experiment with different presets and adjustments to find the perfect look for your images.
